I joined Brightside in January 2009 and my broad-ranging role can be summarised as doing everything I can to develop and promote the work that we do. This includes everything from strategy, fundraising, policy, networking and PR, to making the tea and kicking the recalcitrant printer whenever necessary.

I joined Brightside in February 2009, and work to support ementoring schemes across the organisation. I also work a lot with our online tools and finance resources, to promote and improve them.

I help with the coordination of Brightside’s ementoring projects all over the country. It’s my job to keep our diverse educational schemes running smoothly and to travel around the country, delivering training sessions to mentors and their mentees.

Amelia Smith
My role is to support the ementoring projects that are already up and running, and find new partners to establish schemes with. I deliver training to mentees and mentors on how to use the web platform and how to get the most out of ementoring.

I joined the charity in early 2010 to manage the development and deployment of our new ementoring platform. I also oversee and manage other technical and digital projects related to the charity and support my colleagues with any technical issues they may encounter.

I joined Brightside in January 2010 to bolster the webteam as the charity expanded. I deal with various web tasks, including writing and editing content across our sites, helping users with technical problems and plenty of testing.

I run the administration for the office and our projects, helping the team with a variety of tasks, making sure everything we need is organised and ensuring that our new volunteers are matched up with a project in their area.
