BrightsideUNIAID is delivering two free events for our coordinator network in September. These events are for anyone planning on working with us on an ementoring scheme - whether you are new to ementoring, or already have an existing scheme. You will find out more about our new ementoring programme, share best practice with other coordinators, and explore how to get the most out of your ementoring programme.

Time and location:

Central London - 13th September

Birmingham - 15th September

This one day training programme will cover:

• A brief introduction and update from BrightsideUNIAID, introducing our new free online tools and resources
• Activities exploring how to plan and implement a successful ementoring scheme
• A practical introduction to the new ementoring programme
• An overview of the resources and training materials and how to embed these effectively within your scheme
• Exploring how to deliver effective mentor and mentee training
• Maintaining engagement, monitoring your scheme and making it work!
• Group discussion over sharing best practice
• A chance to ask questions and build an action plan to implement learning from the day

Following the event you will:

• Be able to implement a successful scheme
• Have ideas from other coordinators about how to increase engagement
• Be familiar with with BrightsideUNIAID's new ementoring platform and the additional resources available
• Be aware of how to overcome the challenges of delivering an ementoring programme
